通过东方传统绘画与空间的转换，探讨生命的起源与结束。

2021，祖父在疫情期间，离开了我们。祖父回到了他曾经生活过的地方。去到那里需要经过一条长长的河流，驶向终点。 这条河流婉转曲折，它犹如一个剧场，是一个美好的谢幕。生命的结束，终将是一次崇高的退场。生命平等，平凡人的一生也可以通过某种方式去纪念和表达。

这个展览来自于受到伯尔尼策展人哈罗德 · 史泽曼（Harald Szeemann）的一个展览《祖父：与我们一样的先驱》的影响而作。1972 年史泽曼在伯尔尼公寓为祖父做的一个展览，以此纪念他痴迷于理发的理发师祖父，平凡且珍贵的一生。

通过瀑布，河流，星空和宇宙，这些自然物之间的相互循环，来体现生命的本质。水是生命的源泉，由瀑布流向河流，再由河流通过水蒸气变成浩瀚的星空，宇宙。

Exploring the origin and end of life through the transformation of traditional Eastern painting and space.

In 2021, my grandfather left us during the pandemic. Grandfather returned to the place where he had lived before. To get there, one needs to pass through a long river to reach the destination. This river is gentle and winding, like a theater, it is a beautiful curtain call.

The end of life will ultimately be a noble exit.

Life is equal, and the lives of ordinary people can also be commemorated and expressed in some way.

This exhibition is inspired by an exhibition by Bernese curator Harald Szeemann titled 'Grandfather: A Pioneer Like Us'. In 1972, Szeman held an exhibition for his grandfather at the Bern apartment in memory of his grandfather, a barber who was obsessed with haircuts, for his ordinary and precious life.

The essence of life is reflected through the mutual circulation between natural objects such as waterfalls, rivers, starry sky, and the universe. Water is the source of life, flowing from waterfalls to rivers, and then transformed into vast starry skies through water vapor, forming the universe.

艺术家刘玉洁，1984 生于重庆大足；2006 毕业于四川美术学院油画系，获学士学位；2009 毕业于四川美术学院油画系，获硕士学位；现工作生活于北京。

Artist Liu Yujie, born in Dazu, Chongqing in 1984; In 2006, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a bachelor's degree; In 2009, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with a master's degree; I currently work and live in Beijing.
