众所周知的原因,在中国1990年代以来,绘画不再作为客观现实还原的简单工具,而是具备了新的职能——反对传统,以完全的颠覆美学与取消宏大叙事(Grand Narrative)的意义为其重要特点,摆脱了陈旧的、僵化的功能性,而产生了对抗、在艺术和现实之间作出“行动“的某种承诺与大胆探索,黄君辉2007年的作品《事件剧》组画,与现实图像的故意疏远和对形式的强烈追求,使人物形象符号和动态重新获得了一种价值。

 

事实上,艺术家黄君辉的绘画作品(也许更准确的说,是绘画行为或行为绘画)指向的是艺术家自身思考的完整过程,关于这一论调准确的对应的是《事件剧》系列作品;正是思考过程和绘画意识的反复纠缠,缘由表演或偶发性的行为,才得以产生的画面中人物的庄重的形式与连续的、敏感的探索,和鲜明的色块构成的意象特征。

 

从早期的《我的秋天》(2004)、《大人体》(2004)和《两天》等,到近期的《神话》系列和《事件剧》系列,不难看出艺术家明显的强调介入社会生活、干预整体意识,揭示本质和潜在权力系统中存在的弊病的策略,画面中的各个符号物和等同形象,都具备了一种刻意的不协调感和差异感,而大面积的反复涂写的痕迹、和未完成的形象之间的“冲突”和矛盾的廓画在一个整体中,也能凸现出艺术家对当代社会矛盾与冲突的“游戏”意识。

To the reasons known to all, in China since 1990s, the painting has been no longer as a simple tool to restore the reality, but possesses a new function—oppositing tradition, by entirely overturning aesthetics and canceling grand narrative as the important character, it got rid of old rigid functionality and generated resistance, taking action between art and reality of some commitment and brave exploration. Huang Junhui’s works “Event Drama” group paintings, it deliberately stands off to the realistic picture and strongly pursues the form, that enables figure visualized symbol and dynamic renew obtain a kind of value.
 
In fact, artist Huang Junhui’s painting works (correctly to say a painting action or action painting) orients to artist self pondering completed process. About the viewpoint’s correct corresponding is “Event Drama” series works.
